As someone who loves lemony scents and whose teeth have suffered no small amount of rot from eating plain lemon after plain lemon as a kid, this candle is everything I hoped it would be. It’s strongly lemony without being overbearing. It’s citrusy and a little sweet. But what impresses me the most is that it has the same scent composition as an actual lemon. Meaning, I can smell the fruit as well as an undertone of lemon rind. So exact is it that my brain was fooled into thinking it was a real-life lemon; after smelling the candle, I could taste lemon juice on my tongue. How they managed to capture it so exactly, I don’t know. A remarkably fortunate series of events, would be my guess.
